the last Kiss

Sometimes it's not the big epic landscape with dramatic light, sometimes it's a small and intimate scene.

I was on a little hike through the woods in the harz mountains a few weeks ago when I saw this scene. I was attracted by the contrast between the warm and cool tones and by the shadow play on the ground as well.
